I regret: wishing i would get sick last week

I ache: all over
I am not: lazy
I believe: that education and motivation are the keys to success
I dance: rarely; damn i need to get out more!
I sing: in the car; i was not blessed with a singing voice
I cry: to let it all out and i think it's healthy to do so
I fight: when i have reasons (or when i am emotional)

I always: sneeze when i use pepper
I confuse: names and words in hebrew often, quite embarrassing
I listen: to the news in hebrew to try to understand
I can usually be found: planning things and making to-do notes

i must be cursed
been home sick all week with the most painful ear infection i can ever remember. i have suffered from ear infections before (i swear im cursed); i remember one time when i was little i had one and we were flying home to dallas from israel (or vise versa, it happened so often i get confused) and if you have ever experienced an ear infection it's worse times 1,000,000 when flying, the pressure was unbearable and i was like 8; i just remember my mom had to sit with me on the back row while i screamed and cried in pain.
this is just as bad, if not worse. it began with a terrible sore throat sunday and by the evening my ear was throbbing and it felt like it was going to explode. dekel just layed in bed with my while i cried. i used some ear drops and popped some advil and suprisingly the pain subsided and i was able to sleep for a few hours, till i woke up in the middle of the night with the unbearable pain again. monday morning i went to the dr and he just perscribed me some antibiotics (pills) to take, but i knew i needed more treatment than that. i was weak from not eating now for like 2 days and bf took me to see an ear specialist who had to drain my ear (ew, i know). this was so painful, but immediatly after the fact the pressure was less. i just need to get some sleep. it's now tuesday evening and i can barely hear, the pain has moved from my ear to my neck and jaw, but at least its not throbbing anymore. anything to keep it from throbbing. i had to shower, but had to keep my ear dry. you should have seen it, i used a cotton ball, plastic sandwich bag and hair clip to keep my poor little ear dry while i showered. i am feeling a wee bit better, now just with a headache and a little appetite.
to stay preoccuied while sick i have been watching desperate housewives, sex & the city, grey's anatomy, ellen, E!, etc....
what gets you through when sick?

v-day inspired
Israel has its own "Valentine's Day," called "Yom Ha'ahava" = "love day," which usually falls in the summertime, according to the Jewish calendar. However, many Israelis do celebrate the American Valentine's Day on the 14th, but boyfriend was oblivious. I reminded him that's it's coming up, but clarified that I really want to do something fun and easy to celebrate our love for each other.
